What color jewelry like gold or silver would look best with a brown halter dress with copper colored sparkles. It’s for my 8th grade prom. I have matching brown shoes. But don’t know what kind or color jewelry to wear.
Answer:
Of the two choices, gold. But I’d prefer a rose gold to yellow gold, if you cant find one of those, you can use copper.

Gold absolutely. Since it has copper sparkles you don't want to go with silver. Wear just a chain, like a herringbone, or a box or curb chain with a charm would look good since it a halter. Since it's prom I would stay away from anything beaded, although I guess in 8th grade that would be ok. If your dress is really sparkly, don't go overboard with jewelry. If you wear a necklace, wear small earrings and a ring or 2, no bracelet and NO Dangle or Hoop earrings. If you want to wear big earrings, drop the necklace and wear a chunky bracelet instead for a funky, cool vibe instead of a classic one. Your jewelry should set the tone of your whole outfit, so decide what image you want to project and go with it. Also-copper or gold shoes would look stunning instead of plain brown ones-Just a thought.
